To strengthen Indo-Arab cultural ties, we propose multifaceted initiatives: curating literature festivals and cultural evenings to celebrate shared heritage; publishing translated works to bridge linguistic divides; fostering educational exchanges for scholars and artists; hosting academic dialogues on historical and contemporary themes; and supporting residencies and fellowships to nurture collaborative creativity. These efforts prioritize reciprocity, innovation, and accessibility, creating platforms for sustained intellectual and artistic engagement. By amplifying diverse voices and fostering cross-cultural dialogue, we aim to deepen mutual understanding, preserve traditions, and inspire contemporary collaborations, ensuring a dynamic legacy of Indo-Arab cultural synergy for future generations.
Objectives
Support Public Welfare: Operate as an irrevocable public trust dedicated to educational, informational, cultural, welfare, and charitable purposes, utilizing funds for education, medical relief, poverty alleviation, and other public utility initiatives.
Promote Community Advancement: Foster educational, social, economic, and cultural growth for all individuals, regardless of caste, creed, religion, or gender, with a focus on minorities and backward communities.
Establish Educational and Welfare Institutions: Set up and maintain educational institutions such as schools, colleges, polytechnics, vocational training centers, and paramedical institutes, along with welfare facilities like orphanages, hostels, daycare centers, nursing homes, hospitals, therapy centers, and counseling centers.
Enhance Arabic Language Education in India: Launch initiatives to develop the Arabic language and elevate the status of Arabic teachers and learners in India.
Promote Indian Languages: Support the growth of Indian-origin languages, particularly Hindi, Urdu, and Sanskrit, and translate Indian literature into Arabic.
Establish Language Institutes: Create modern institutes and laboratories to promote languages like Arabic, Urdu, Bengali, Hindi, Sanskrit, and others listed in the 8th Schedule of the Indian Constitution.
Facilitate Linguistic Dialogue: Encourage dialogue and understanding among diverse linguistic communities.
Foster Cultural Diversity: Promote cultural cohesion through literature, art, oral traditions, and cultural studies.
Strengthen Cultural Ties: Build connections with cultural organizations and universities worldwide to support cultural and literary exchange programs.
Translate Literary Works: Facilitate the translation of significant works by Indian authors into Arabic and promote Arabic literature in Indian languages.
Train Educators and Leaders: Support the training of educators, translators, and community leaders to enhance language education, teaching, and dialogue.
Strengthen Indo-Arab Relations: Play a key role in fostering Indo-Arab relations through literary activities and translations.
Preserve Arabic Heritage: Collect resources on Indian history, languages, and culture in Arabic, and establish the Alberuni Library to house these materials.
Develop Community Facilities: Establish libraries, recreation centers, and community centers.
Organize Educational and Cultural Events: Conduct camps, courses, literary programs, conferences, seminars, symposia, webinars, sports, arts competitions, and exhibitions.
Recognize Contributions: Honor eminent personalities, scholars, social workers, and institutions through awards, medals, and prizes, as decided by the selection committee.
Publish Educational Content: Create independent web portals, magazines, periodicals, journals, and books (both print and digital) in various languages.
Leverage Media for Promotion: Establish and manage electronic and print media, TV channels, YouTube channels, and other social media platforms in Arabic to promote cultural and literary initiatives.
Promote Peace and Harmony: Foster a culture of peace and harmony through literature and cultural studies.
Address Social Evils: Take measures to eradicate social issues such as adolescent delinquency, alcoholism, drug addiction, suicide, prostitution, and crime.
Protect Vulnerable Groups: Safeguard the rights of women and children, providing legal aid, and medical, financial, or other assistance through state or central government services.
Support the Underprivileged: Improve the welfare of the elderly, women, children, and street children.
Uphold Democratic Values: Work to protect India’s democracy and secularism while promoting communal harmony, national integration, and unity among people.
Provide Disaster Relief: Conduct relief efforts in West Bengal, tribal, and backward areas affected by natural calamities and famines.
Encourage Collaboration: Collaborate with groups, societies, and organizations to promote cooperation and coordination at national and international levels.
Support Competitive Exam Preparation: Establish and run coaching centers for civil services, UGC-NET, SET, WB-SET, WB-MSC, and other competitive exams.
Strengthen Educational Institutions: Provide assistance for the development of weaker educational institutions and vocational training centers in India.
Guide NGOs: Offer guidance to NGOs across India for establishing educational institutions, charitable services, and human resource development centers.
Provide Counseling Services: Set up guidance and counseling centers to offer psychological, vocational, and employment support for students, parents, and others.
Offer Scholarships and Financial Aid: Manage scholarship programs, awards, and financial assistance for underprivileged students to support their education.
Combat Illiteracy and Poverty: Promote literacy and moral values, and undertake initiatives to eradicate illiteracy and poverty while discouraging extravagance.
Facilitate Idea Exchange: Create platforms for exchanging ideas through seminars, meetings, and events to promote social integration and communal harmony.
Provide Palliative Care: Offer palliative and mobile medical care for individuals suffering from cancer, old age, or severe illnesses like Alzheimer’s and dementia.
Expand Trust Operations: Take over or manage institutions run by individuals or trusts that align with the trust’s objectives.
Undertake Additional Activities: Engage in other activities necessary to achieve the objectives listed above, as determined by the Board of Trustees.
